Arbitrary file read through undisclosed access control
Published May 13, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Improper access control in Adobe ColdFusion 2025.1, 2023.13, 2021.19 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files. Adobe has not disclosed the affected ColdFusion component or the access-control operation that mishandles authorized requests. A high-privileged account and network access are required; exploitation needs no user interaction and exposes or permits modification of sensitive data across a security boundary.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Public exploit references
No public exploit references are available in this record.
Labels summarize the accepted research assessment. They do not indicate a test against your environment.
