Code execution via uninitialized pointer access
Published May 13, 2025 · Updated May 13, 2025
Uninitialized-pointer access in Adobe Animate 24.0.8, 23.0.11 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe identifies the defect class but has not published the affected parser, file format, or operation that leaves the pointer uninitialized. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, and resulting code runs with the current user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
