Code execution via malicious file integer underflow
Published May 13, 2025 · Updated May 13, 2025
Integer underflow in Adobe Animate 24.0.8 and 23.0.11 and earlier allows attackers to execute arbitrary code through a malicious file. Adobe has not published the affected parser, file format, or arithmetic operation beyond identifying an integer underflow. Execution requires a user to open the file and runs with the current user's privileges, permitting compromise of data and application behavior.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
