Code execution via manipulated resource search path
Published May 13, 2025 · Updated May 13, 2025
Uncontrolled search path handling in Adobe Substance 3D Modeler 1.21.0 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. The affected search operation can resolve a critical library or executable to an attacker-controlled resource, but Adobe has not named the code locus. Exploitation requires user interaction to open the file, and the resulting code runs with the current user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
