CVE-2025-4354Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated device crash via oversized storage URL

Published May 6, 2025 · Updated May 6, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DAP-1520 1.10B04_BETA02 allows remote authenticated users to crash the device via a crafted URL. The /storage route passes an overlong URL string to replace_special_char, whose loop writes beyond its fixed 600-byte stack buffer without a length bound. Authenticated web-interface access is required; the published 1,000-character cyclic request demonstrates memory corruption and a service interrupt, not code execution.
