Sensitive data disclosure via code-signing downgrade
Published Dec 12, 2025 · Updated Dec 12, 2025
Information disclosure in Apple macOS allows local users to access sensitive user data through AppleMobileFileIntegrity downgrade handling. AppleMobileFileIntegrity applies insufficient code-signing restrictions during a downgrade, allowing protected data access. Exploitation requires an app on an Intel-based Mac running macOS Sequoia before 15.7.3 or macOS Tahoe before 26.2; Apple has not identified the exposed data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
