Process crash via dangling animation context
Published Dec 12, 2025 · Updated Dec 12, 2025
Use-after-free in WebKit Web Inspector in Apple iOS and iPadOS before 18.7.2 allows remote attackers to crash a process via crafted web content. InspectorAnimationAgent resolved or bound an animation after its ScriptExecutionContext was gone, enabling stale-object access. Reaching the flaw requires user interaction with attacker-controlled web content; the documented consequence is an unexpected process crash, not code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
