Buffer overflow in WebKit in Safari and affected Apple operating systems allows remote attackers to crash a process via crafted web content. Apple identifies the faulty locus only as WebKit and has not disclosed the affected routine or the unchecked memory operation that overruns its buffer. Exploitation requires a user to process attacker-controlled web content, and the documented consequence is an unexpected process crash rather than code execution.
