Remote code execution via host parameter overflow
Published May 6, 2025 · Updated May 6, 2025
Buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-600L 2.07B01 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through a crafted host parameter. The formEasySetupWizard handler copies the host argument without enforcing the destination buffer's bounds, corrupting adjacent memory. Access to router management is required, and successful exploitation executes code in the router firmware context or crashes the service.
