Out-of-bounds access in Apple Model I/O before 26.1 allows attackers to terminate apps or corrupt process memory via crafted media files. Model I/O processes attacker-controlled media without adequate bounds checking, permitting an out-of-range process-memory access. A user must open or otherwise process the file; successful exploitation can terminate the handling app or compromise its process memory.
