Heap-based buffer overflow in Apple Model I/O allows attackers to execute code via a maliciously crafted USD media file. The importMeshes path copies user-controlled data into a heap buffer without validating its length against the destination bounds. Exploitation requires interaction with the USD library and runs code in the current process; failed attempts can terminate the app or corrupt its memory.
