Path traversal in Apple macOS Sonoma before 14.8.2, Sequoia before 15.7.2, and Tahoe before 26.1 allows local users to read sensitive user data. CoreServices in Sonoma and Sequoia, and AppleMobileFileIntegrity in Tahoe, parse directory paths without sufficient path validation. Exploitation requires local low-privileged code execution, and the reported consequence is sensitive-data disclosure without integrity or availability impact.
