Out-of-bounds write in sips in Apple macOS allows remote attackers to execute code by opening a crafted ICC profile. The ICC profile parser fails to validate user-supplied profile data before writing it past the end of an allocated buffer. A target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; successful exploitation runs code in the current process, while Apple reports app termination.
