XXE in Lantronix DeviceInstaller 4.4.0.7 and earlier allows attackers to expose host and device credentials via crafted configuration XML. The configuration-file parser resolves attacker-controlled external entity references received from a network device. Exploitation requires user interaction with a device on the local network and can disclose credentials or password hashes, alter device settings, or expose the Windows host.
