Local process crash via oversized path value

Improper input validation in Xcode before 26 allows local users to crash a process by supplying an overly large path value. Apple identifies the affected locus only as the Dev Tools component and has not disclosed which path parser or operation mishandles the value. Exploitation requires local path processing on macOS and causes a process crash, with no reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
