State-management flaw in Mail Drafts on iOS and iPadOS before 18.6 allows remote attackers to load images during email forwarding. The Mail Drafts forwarding path fails to preserve Lockdown Mode's remote-content suppression and fetches embedded remote images. Exploitation requires a user to forward an email while Lockdown Mode is enabled, exposing the device to remote-image requests without reported code execution or data modification.
