CVE-2025-4321

Bluetooth service halt via malformed L2CAP packets

Published Nov 17, 2025 · Updated Nov 17, 2025

Denial of service in Silicon Labs RS9116W WiSeConnect 2.12.1 and earlier allows adjacent attackers to halt Bluetooth operation. The L2CAP packet-processing path accepts malformed structural elements that reach an assertion, leaving the wireless module unable to operate. No authentication or user interaction is required, but Bluetooth proximity is necessary, and only a hard reset restores service.
