Locked-note image disclosure via uncleared cache
Published Sep 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 2, 2026
Information disclosure in Notes in Apple iOS and iPadOS before 18.7 or 26 allows physically proximate attackers to view a locked-note image. Notes cache handling leaves the most recently viewed image accessible after its note is locked. Exploitation requires physical access to an unlocked device and exposes only that image from the most recently viewed locked note.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
