CVE-2025-4302Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Username disclosure via URL-encoded REST path

Published Jul 17, 2025 · Updated Jul 17, 2025

Protection bypass in Fullworks Digital Ltd. Stop User Enumeration before 1.7.3 allows remote attackers to read WordPress usernames. The REST request filter fails to normalize a percent-encoded /wp-json/wp/v2/users/ path before applying its user-endpoint restriction, allowing the encoded path to reach the endpoint. No authentication or user interaction is required; the response reveals the site's WordPress user list but does not modify data or interrupt service.
