CVE-2025-43017

Local privilege escalation via unverified user identity

Published Oct 28, 2025 · Updated Oct 28, 2025

Privilege escalation in HP ThinPro 8.1 SP1 through SP7 allows local users to gain elevated system access through System Management. The System Management application fails to verify the invoking user's true identity before performing privileged operations.
