Authenticated database table deletion via missing authorization check
Published Jun 10, 2025 · Updated Jun 10, 2025
Missing authorization in SAP Business Warehouse and SAP Plug-In Basis allows remote authenticated users to delete database tables. SAP has not disclosed the affected code locus; an authorization check is omitted before an attacker-controlled operation drops arbitrary SAP database tables. Low-privilege authenticated network access is required, and successful exploitation can erase database entries or render the system unusable without exposing data.
