Host compromise via malicious content deserialization
Published Jul 8, 2025 · Updated Jul 8, 2025
Insecure deserialization in SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal Federated Portal Network 7.50 allows remote authenticated users to compromise the host. The upload path accepts attacker-controlled content and deserializes it, but SAP has not published the affected handler, object format, or validation failure. A privileged portal account and the ability to upload content are required; successful exploitation can expose or alter data and interrupt the host.
