Authenticated file read and modification via path traversal

Directory traversal in SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer VCBASE 7.50 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify arbitrary files. The Visual Composer server passes a high-privileged request path to file access without constraining it to the intended directory. High-privileged application access is required; successful requests disclose file contents or modify files without interrupting service.
