Authenticated crash and disclosure via crafted BIC requests
Published Aug 12, 2025 · Updated Aug 13, 2025
Memory corruption in SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP BIC Document allows remote authenticated users to disclose memory and crash the component. A crafted request submitted to a BIC Document application causes an out-of-bounds read or memory-corruption error in undisclosed request-handling code. A valid account and network access are required; one request crashes the target component, while repeated requests can make it unavailable.
