CVE-2025-42967Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via crafted reports

Published Jul 8, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Code injection in SAP S/4HANA and SAP SCM Characteristic Propagation allows remote authenticated users to execute code as system reports. The report-creation path accepts attacker-supplied source code, turning creation of a new report into code execution inside the SAP application server. A user-level account is required, and successful exploitation grants full control of the affected SAP system and its application data.
