Internal network enumeration via response-time oracle
Published Jul 8, 2025 · Updated Jul 11, 2025
SSRF in SAP BI Platform CMC Promotion Management 430, 2025, and 2027 allows remote authenticated users to map internal endpoints. Promotion Management processes attacker-chosen IP addresses and ports during job source configuration, and response timing reveals which endpoints answer. Access to the authenticated CMC workflow with high privileges is required; exploitation discloses internal network reachability without changing data or interrupting service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
