Authenticated system compromise via unvalidated RFC parameters
Published Aug 12, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Code injection in SAP S/4HANA S4CORE 102 through 108 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary ABAP code through RFC. The remotely callable /SLOAE/DEPLOY function passes unvalidated T_CODE input to INSERT REPORT, writing attacker-supplied statements into an ABAP program. A low-privileged SAP account with minimal S_DMIS authorization is sufficient for full control of the application, host, database, and stored data.
