CVE-2025-42954Network attack vector

Service interruption via parameterless RFC execution

Published Jul 8, 2025 · Updated Jul 8, 2025

Denial of service in SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse CCAW allows remote authenticated users with high privileges to interrupt operation. An RFC-enabled function module enters an unbounded processing loop when invoked without input parameters, driving sustained CPU load. Reachability requires authorization to execute the affected RFC function, and the resource exhaustion reduces performance or interrupts availability without affecting data confidentiality or integrity.
