Unauthorized transactions via session-manager authorization bypass
Published Oct 14, 2025 · Updated Oct 14, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in SAP NetWeaver Application Server for ABAP allows remote authenticated users to execute unauthorized transactions. The session manager accepts direct transaction initiation that skips the first transaction screen and its associated authorization check. An authenticated SAP session is required; exploitation exposes restricted functionality and permits unauthorized actions affecting confidentiality and integrity, without interrupting service.
