CVE-2025-42907Network attack vector

Authenticated outbound ping via modified logon token

Published Sep 23, 2025 · Updated Sep 23, 2025

SSRF in OpenDocument in SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform allows remote authenticated users to trigger outbound requests via a modified logon token. OpenDocument processes the IP address embedded in the LogonToken without restricting the destination and sends a ping request to that server. Low-privilege network access and a valid logon token are required; the documented result is an outbound ping with low integrity impact only.
