Command execution via unrestricted filesystem paths
Published Nov 11, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Path traversal in SAP Business Connector 4.8 allows remote authenticated users with adjacent access to execute operating system commands. SAP has not published the affected interface, file-handling routine, or pathname validation error that permits paths to escape the intended directory. Administrator access is required; successful exploitation permits arbitrary host-file reads, writes, overwrites, and deletions before command execution.
