Unauthenticated system-log disclosure via showSyslog request
Published May 5, 2025 · Updated May 5, 2025
Information disclosure in TOTOLINK A720R 4.1.5cu.374 allows remote attackers to read detailed system logs via a crafted POST request. /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi accepts the showSyslog topicurl value without authentication and returns kernel debug, interface, wireless, and hardware-operation logs. Network reachability to the router's management interface is sufficient; the disclosed logs expose operational details but no write or service-interruption capability is reported.
