Authenticated browser script execution via unfiltered cstatus
Published May 5, 2025 · Updated May 5, 2025
Cross-site scripting in SeaCMS 13.2 admin_paylog.php allows remote authenticated users to inject script through the cstatus parameter. The handler accepts the client-supplied value without strict filtering before incorporating it into web-page output, allowing browser interpretation as script. Low-privileged access and a victim viewing the crafted response are required; successful exploitation alters page content and runs script in that viewer's browser.
