Reflected XSS via unsanitized login redirect URL
Published May 24, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in Softaculous Pagelayer 2.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts via a crafted login_url value. pagelayer_login_submit() parses attacker-supplied form_data and returns login_url as the redirect field after wp_signon succeeds without sanitizing or encoding it. Exploitation requires valid credentials and user interaction; the script runs only in the authenticated victim's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
