CVE-2025-4206Network attack vector

Administrator file deletion via unchecked paths

Published May 9, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Path traversal in Groundhogg 4.1.1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary server files through admin tools. The process_export_delete and process_import_delete functions accept user-controlled file paths without restricting them to import or export storage before deleting the referenced files. Administrator access is required; deleting a critical file such as wp-config.php can disable the site and create conditions for remote code execution.
