CVE-2025-41772Network attack vector

Session hijacking via tokens exposed in URLs

Published Mar 9, 2026 · Updated Mar 9, 2026

Session-token exposure in MBS UBR firmware before 6.0.1.0 allows remote attackers to obtain valid web sessions through exposed URLs. The wwwupdate.cgi endpoint places plaintext session tokens in URL query parameters, allowing browsers, web servers, proxies, bookmarks, email, and Referer headers to retain or disclose them. Exposure requires a valid user's request to reach an attacker-visible location; the stolen token grants that session's access, while direct integrity or availability impact is not established.
