Buffer overflow in the PROFINET service in Phoenix Contact PLCnext firmware before 2026.0.3 allows remote attackers to execute code. Phoenix Contact has not disclosed the affected handler, message field, or unchecked copy operation that overruns the service buffer. The service is enabled by default, requires no authentication, and crafted network traffic can reboot the controller or execute arbitrary code.
