Unauthenticated arbitrary uploads via unchecked role
Published Mar 9, 2026 · Updated Mar 9, 2026
Missing authorization in MBS Universal BACnet Router firmware before 6.0.1.0 allows remote attackers to upload arbitrary data. The wwwupload.cgi endpoint checks only whether a session exists and does not verify the associated role before accepting contact images, certificates, backups, peer configurations, or keys. The CNA treats the endpoint as remotely reachable without privileges, while the vendor advisory describes guest-session access; applied uploads can alter device configuration or interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
