Authenticated information disclosure via unchecked download role
Published Mar 9, 2026 · Updated Mar 9, 2026
Improper authorization in MBS UBR firmware before 6.0.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to download administrator-only resources. The wwwdnload.cgi endpoint verifies that a session exists but does not check its assigned role before serving requested downloads. A guest account is sufficient to retrieve system backups and certificate request files, exposing information reserved for users and administrators.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
