Privileged code execution via API integer overflow
Published Jan 27, 2026 · Updated Jan 27, 2026
Integer overflow in Beckhoff Device Manager before 2.5.3 and related MDP packages allows remote authenticated users to execute code. Crafted web-service or local API calls trigger integer overflows in Device Manager processing; Beckhoff has not disclosed the affected function or arithmetic operation. Low-privileged authentication is required for the network path, and successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code inside a privileged process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
