CVE-2025-41723Network attack vector

Arbitrary file upload via SOAP path traversal

Published Oct 22, 2025 · Updated Oct 22, 2025

Path traversal in the importFile SOAP method in SAUTER modulo controllers allows remote attackers to upload files to arbitrary locations. The method fails to neutralize crafted traversal sequences before using input as a restricted pathname, allowing the destination check to be bypassed. Network access is sufficient and no authentication is required; arbitrary file writing is established, but code execution is not.
