CVE-2025-41713Network attack vector

Unauthenticated network-boundary bypass via premature switch activation

Published Sep 15, 2025 · Updated Sep 15, 2025

Improper Ethernet-switch initialization in WAGO CC100, TP600, and Edge Controller devices allows remote attackers to cross network boundaries. A pull-up resistor on the switch reset input activates the circuit before the CPU configures it, leaving forwarding behavior undefined until a CPU-induced reset. The exposure is limited to a short boot-time window, but unauthenticated traffic can reach unauthorized networks and disrupt connectivity.
