CVE-2025-41708Network attack vector

Sensitive-data interception via default HTTP interface

Published Sep 8, 2025 · Updated Sep 8, 2025

Cleartext transmission in Bender charge controllers allows remote attackers on the same network to intercept sensitive web-interface data over HTTP. The default configuration serves the management interface over unencrypted HTTP rather than HTTPS, exposing transmitted requests and responses to interception. Reachability requires access to the same network; the advisory reports disclosure of data in transit and no effect on electrical safety.
