Resource exhaustion in Phoenix Contact FL SWITCH 2xxx firmware before 3.50 allows remote authenticated users to degrade management functions. After SSH login, each directly executed command leaves its process open, so repeated commands consume resources without a limit or cleanup. Low-privileged device credentials are required; management performance is reduced, while packet-switching functionality remains unaffected.
