Measurement-data disclosure via passwordless database login
Published Aug 19, 2025 · Updated Aug 25, 2025
Missing authentication in Motherbox 3 firmware 1.44 through 1.48 allows remote attackers to read stored measurement data from its database. The internal database login accepts access without password protection and exposes measurement values collected from connected W&T sensor devices. Network reachability is sufficient; access is unauthenticated and read-only, with no reported ability to change data or interrupt the device.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
