CVE-2025-41653Network attack vector

Unauthenticated service interruption via malicious HTTP header

Published May 27, 2025 · Updated May 27, 2025

Denial of service in Weidmüller industrial Ethernet switch firmware allows remote attackers to interrupt its web server via a malicious HTTP header. The web server's HTTP-header handling exhausts an insufficient resource pool, but the affected parser and resource are undisclosed. No authentication or user interaction is required; a crafted request can crash the web server or leave it unresponsive, interrupting device management.
