Unauthenticated command execution via unprotected device function
Published May 27, 2025 · Updated May 27, 2025
Missing authentication in Weidmüller industrial Ethernet switch firmware allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. An undisclosed critical device function accepts command requests without authenticating the caller, and the vendor has not identified the endpoint or protocol. Network reachability is sufficient; successful exploitation permits configuration-file upload or download and full device compromise.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
