CVE-2025-41647

Controller password disclosure via post-logout plaintext display

Published Jun 25, 2025 · Updated Jun 25, 2025

Cleartext exposure in Lenze PLC Designer V4 4.0.0 allows local users to read a connected controller's password. When a GDS password is set online in parameter 0x2471:158, the interface masks it, but logging out makes the same value readable in plain text. A low-privileged user must access the engineering workstation, and the condition applies only with c430, c520, or c550 controllers.
