Unauthenticated device compromise via boolean password coercion
Published Jun 6, 2025 · Updated Jun 6, 2025
Authentication bypass in KUNBUS Revolution Pi webstatus 2.4.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to fully compromise the device. The password check implicitly converts the JSON TRUE value supplied in the hashcode password parameter, treating it as a successful authentication. No credentials or user interaction are required; successful access exposes the application's device-configuration and service-control functions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
