CVE-2025-4150Network attack vector

Authenticated memory corruption via unchecked host copy

Published May 1, 2025 · Updated May 1, 2025

Buffer overflow in NETGEAR EX6200 firmware 1.0.3.94 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted host parameter. The sub_54340 routine handles the GUI region operation by copying the host value into a fixed-size destination without checking its length. A valid management session is required; the resulting memory corruption can affect device confidentiality, integrity, and availability, but public evidence does not establish code execution.
